How do these individuals connect to the larger Maybury family?

Maybury individuals and families sometimes emerge from records who cannot readily be connected to known Maybury family lines. These are explored below. One - Delilah Mabry of Edgefield and Abbeville Counties, South Carolina - is known not to be genetically related to the many descendants of John Maybury of Sussex, England. Her family appears to be an example of a new Maybury family emerging, perhaps after a non-paternal event or a name change.
